OpenVSX is a public registry and marketplace for Visual Studio Code–compatible extensions aimed at open-source IDEs that cannot use Microsoft’s proprietary store. It lets developers publish, discover, and install extensions for editors such as Eclipse Theia, Gitpod, and other VS Code forks.
